Exciting news! Beyond Flowers and Food was named a “Best of Westchester” Award winner in the Gifts category!
For those of you who don’t know, Westchester County is an area in the Hudson Valley located north of New York City and it’s where our Beyond Flowers and Food business is based. It’s also where we both live and are raising our families.
The “Best of” awards are a big deal in Westchester. They’re selected by the editors of Westchester Magazine and/or by reader votes. Over 50,000 votes were cast this year, which is pretty impressive. Many people in Westchester use this winners list as a guide to try new restaurants, shops or services, and we are honored to have been included.
We were specifically singled out for our Grief Gifts category. We started this company after our mother passed away several years ago. Through that experience, we were inspired to create more meaningful ways for people to support their friends and loved ones in their grief other than by sending the standard flower bouquet or tired fruit basket.

We attended the Best of Westchester Party last week and got to mingle with some of the top talent in our home county! It was at a beautiful waterfront event space on a gorgeous evening.
